The challenge
Our client is a contract research organisation providing testing and consultancy services to pharmaceuticals and other companies. To assess the suitability of the proposed new location, we carried out a broad analysis of the business case exploring what was needed and whether other possibilities were available. Our work was informed by studies from other sites and drew on our business case expertise and site-based knowledge to ensure a complete picture.
The solution
Having identified the viability of the project in the business case, we provided preliminary designs. Speaking to users to understand their work processes led to a more detailed and accurate assessment of costs and space. Such input at an early stage avoids issues and cost escalations later.
