New office in Navi Mumbai, India

As Royal HaskoningDHV Mumbai reaches this significant milestone they have proudly unveiled a brand-new office in the prestigious Rupa Renaissance corporate space. The move signifies enduring commitment not only to India but also clients and colleagues throughout the region. 

The new office in Navi Mumbai showcases the long-term vision of Royal HaskoningDHV and its acknowledgement of India's strong growth trajectory. Designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and sustainability, the new office meets the highest sustainability standards and offers a flexible and inspiring office environment for staff. It also provides ample space to meet and work with clients. 

The building is part of a state-of-the-art commercial hub, designed to achieve Platinum Rated Green Building Status. It includes flexible collaboration spaces and green deck areas offering spectacular views. Additionally, the building offers numerous benefits such as showers, relaxing rooms, gym and recreational facilities to support the physical and mental wellbeing of employees. This facility will serve as the epicentre of regional operations, enabling the team to further elevate services and deliver unmatched value to clients. 

With a strong emphasis on sustainability, Royal HaskoningDHV's team in India provides services to the maritime industry and has contributed to some of the country's most prestigious projects, including the Mazagaon Dock Modernization Project, theDry Dock at Cochin Shipyard, Kochi, Kerala, the New Dry Dock at DGNP and the Goa Shipyard Modernization Project at Goa.

The occasion brought together team members led by the Resident Director of India, Md Aslam Bijapur, valued clients, and other key stakeholders, providing them with an exclusive opportunity to explore the new office. His Excellency the Netherlands Consulate General to India, Bart de Jong, joined the celebrations along with esteemed guests, including Jon Robinson, Business Line Director for Water & Maritime, Johan van Voorthuizen and Eric Smit, the business heads of Water & Maritime. The event commenced with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting and cake-cutting, followed by speeches from the distinguished dignitaries.

His Excellency the Netherlands Consulate General to India, Bart de Jong reflected on the Royal HaskoningDHV’s record in India. “I firmly believe that, with the unveiling of this new office, Royal HaskoningDHV will continue to flourish, achieving remarkable success in years to come."

Our Resident Director for India Md Aslam Bijapur said: “We were only three people when we started operations in Mumbai. Later, we grew to a team of 20. It raised to 40 in our previous space. Now in this new office, we have a seating capacity up to 120 people.
