Operating in Indonesia for over 50 years, we have played a key role in some of the most significant and important engineering and development projects in the region. With the unveiling of a new headquarters in the Arkadia Green Park office complex in Jakarta, the team confirms the company’s long-term commitment to the area.

Attended by His Excellency the Netherlands Ambassador to Indonesia, Lambert Grijns, and our Chief Commercial Officer, Erik Oostwegel, the celebrations welcomed team members, partner companies, clients and other key stakeholders, giving them the chance to view the new office. The event included a traditional ceremony with the cutting of a tumpeng symbolising gratitude.

Speaking at the opening, Erik Oostwegel said: “It’s a pleasure to be here at this inspiring new office, it’s already possible to see what a significant difference it will make to the team in terms of helping build collaboration and team spirit.”

Sustainability plays such an important role in so many of our projects it’s only right that each of our offices around the world reflect these values. This new space meets the highest sustainability standards in Asia.

Erik continues: “These standards, combined with a flexible workspace which increases contact between teams and departments, brings this office into line with our global headquarters in Amersfoort and our other offices around the world.”

Our Resident Director for Indonesia Mark van Zanten said: “Moving to this superb new office facility is very exciting for the team and I’m looking forward to it leading to even greater collaboration between them.

Indonesia, and the whole region, is going through a significant transition with incredible opportunities for ground-breaking projects. We are very proud of our involvement in the new capital city scheme, and for using our global experience in renewables to support Indonesia’s aims to reduce emissions and greenhouse gas emissions and achieve carbon neutrality.

It’s a challenging time in terms of climate change impact, energy transition and geopolitical tensions but our team continues to go from strength to strength, adapting and adjusting so we can continue to find innovative solutions for clients and new ways of working with partners and stakeholders.”

The world class office and leisure facilities, green space, and easy access to sustainable transport systems mean that the Arkadia Green Park office complex is attracting some of the world’s leading companies.

Erik concluded: “Our new office will ensure we remain at the heart of this vibrant and inspiring city and that we continue to deliver advanced solutions and attract a world class team.”
