Member of the Sustainable Digital Infrastructure Alliance (SDIA)

Royal HaskoningDHV has joined forces with the Sustainable Digital Infrastructure Alliance (SDIA), a non-profit network of more than 60 organisations working to catalyse the transition to sustainable digital infrastructure, becoming its latest member.
The Alliance connects all actors of the digital ecosystem – from industry to governments to suppliers to consumers – on the mission of decarbonising the global digital economy and realising their Roadmap to Sustainable Digital Infrastructure by 2030. Royal HaskoningDHV will now also aid the SDIA in this mission.
SDIA provides the capability to address, through innovation, some of the world’s biggest challenges. At the same time, they are part of the challenge. They need to adapt and innovate so the sector continues to support and develop a vibrant digital economy that is open and accessible, without consuming unsustainable levels of resources.
The scale of the challenge is such that it can only be addressed by combining expertise with that of clients, partners, and customers. That is for Royal HaskoningDHV the reason to become a member of the Alliance. In a co-creative approach, the impact can be scaled far beyond stand-alone projects to Enhance Society Together. We fully support the beliefs of the Alliance to adapt the underlying digital infrastructure, reducing its environmental impact to zero, making the massive growth sustainable while ensuring it remains open & accessible.

Royal HaskoningDHV’s expertise in developing sustainable digital infrastructure is of great importance for the SDIA. Together we will work and develop new concepts and technologies by utilising sustainable development and innovation.
The sustainable solutions for greenfield and brownfield sites for Royal HaskoningDHV include energy-efficient design, waste heat exchange and energy storage, the reuse of existing buildings, smaller footprints through high-rise development, reduced water usage, and more. Clients can rely on experience and practical solutions to incorporate sustainability in their data centres.
