Every day, we work on a mission: to enhance ports, terminals, and shipyards through innovation and sustainable development. This entails future-proof sites with smart solutions that protect people and environments as sea levels rise and climate impacts grow. In these challenging times, we ensure efficiency to help facilities grow and thrive. With your talents, we can design and create the smart maritime environments of tomorrow, today.
We use our 140 years of global experience to offer optimised solutions. With dedicated colleagues working from business consultancy and masterplanning to design and engineering, to construction and operations consultancy, we can make it happen! By delivering end-to-end support, we all make a positive impact on performance, sustainability and society as a whole.
One thing is clear, this is a very exciting journey to be part of! Curious to learn more about our colleagues working in the Maritime team? Read their experiences below!
I first joined as an Analyst on a 12-month University placement within First Marine International (FMI), the shipyard technology and market research advisory group within Royal HaskoningDHV before joining upon completion of my masters. I have since then worked on shipyard projects all over the world and have had the privilege of visiting some incredible places including Indonesia, Brazil and the Philippines. I’ve also spent a year working part-time supporting the UK Local Management Team (LMT) to gain experience in the strategic and operational aspects of our company.
Having recently completed the ‘Future Leaders Journey’, an internal course at Royal HaskoningDHV, I am now supporting our Maritime Business Line part-time as Strategy Associate alongside my Consultancy role with FMI. This means assisting the business line to become aligned with the ambitions of our company. I’m looking forward to what the next decade has in store for me!
“I have worked for Royal HaskoningDHV in the Brighton office for over 25 years. The reason I have stayed here so long is that I love the collaborative culture at the company – we have a number of industry recognised specialists who are always open to support and learn from. Working in numerical modelling has given me the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects - from offshore wind farms, to container terminals, to coastal protections schemes, I have had the opportunity to travel throughout the UK and internationally. As an employee-owned company, my experience is that Royal HaskoningDHV cares about their staff and there are many opportunities for personal development, whether you want to follow a technical career or a management path.”
Why work at Royal HaskoningDHV?
We always seek talents who want to support our clients in various exciting maritime projects. Talents with the required technical knowledge and skills and a good dose of social skills. Are you the talent we are looking for?
