A 10-year work anniversary: I have worked on shipyard projects all over the world and have had the privilege of visiting some incredible places including Indonesia, Brazil and the Philippines.

I first joined as an Analyst on a 12-month University placement within First Marine International (FMI), the shipyard technology and market research advisory group within Royal HaskoningDHV before joining upon completion of my masters. I have since then worked on shipyard projects all over the world and have had the privilege of visiting some incredible places including Indonesia, Brazil and the Philippines. I’ve also spent a year working part-time supporting the UK Local Management Team (LMT) to gain experience in the strategic and operational aspects of our company.

Having recently completed the ‘Future Leaders Journey’, an internal course at Royal HaskoningDHV, I am now supporting our Maritime Business Line part-time as Strategy Associate alongside my Consultancy role with FMI. This means assisting the business line to become aligned with the ambitions of our company. I’m looking forward to what the next decade has in store for me!

I joined the Royal HaskoningDHV Edinburgh office in 2022 after few years of experience, seeking for opportunities to develop my career and gain experience on interesting maritime projects. I felt very quickly, the very welcoming and stimulating nature of the workplace. I’m now constantly working with colleagues all across the UK and on a range of different and challenging maritime projects.
