Royal HaskoningDHV appoints David de Graaf as new Global Director Digital

Royal HaskoningDHV has appointed David de Graaf as new Global Director Digital as of 1 April 2022.
In this role, he will focus on further growing the company’s digital consultancy and software solutions business which is one of the strategic priorities for the coming years.

To realise our strategic growth ambitions for the coming years, increased management dedication and focus is required. Therefore, I am very pleased to announce that David de Graaf will take over from Niels Schallenberg as Global Director Digital. Niels has been responsible for bringing our business line Digital to its present level of maturity while combining his work as Global Director Digital with being Global Director Water & Maritime. With the foundation for further growth set, it is a natural moment to handover to a dedicated Global Director Digital.”

David de Graaf joined Royal HaskoningDHV at the end of 2020, being one of the partners of the acquired company Novius, specialists in strategic business transformation. Since then, he has been responsible for the business unit Digital Consultancy & Data Solutions within the business line Digital.
Niels Schallenberg will continue as Global Director Water & Maritime, driving growth and excellence in the company's strategic markets of climate resilience, maritime and water technology. “I am very proud of the strong growth in digital over the past years. We have a strong foundation to further accelerate our growth providing a seamless offering of software, technology, consultancy, design and engineering. I am pleased to handover to David to continue our exciting journey.” Niels added.
