As a Senior Project Manager (MCF/ Data Centres), you will be at the forefront of delivering excellence to some of the world's most discerning clients. Working collaboratively across the globe, you will leverage your expertise in specialized aspects of building projects. What sets our clients apart is their need for proactive leadership, and as a Senior Project Manager (MCF/ Data Centres), you are entrusted with ensuring the triumph of greenfield and brownfield projects. You will take the reins in leading multidisciplinary teams and serve as the primary point of contact for our clients. In today's landscape, datacenter clients increasingly seek holistic business cases integrating design and engineering. You will be adept at understanding your clients' core processes, and your role extends to supporting business development, requiring a personal network of potential clients and the commercial acumen to nurture long-term partnerships. Your diverse responsibilities encompass, but are not confined to:
Project Leadership: effectively manage large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects from inception to completion, guiding multinational clients towards optimal value decisions;
Team Development: lead and supervise project teams throughout the development and delivery phases;
Project Initiation: collaborate with clients to initiate projects, oversee stakeholder contributions, assess production solutions, prepare project briefs and business cases, and secure necessary approvals within the client's organization;
Project Control: assume responsibility for comprehensive project controls, encompassing planning, cost management, project administration, and contract oversight;
International Operations: operate within an international context, with a readiness for short-, medium-, and long-term travel, while managing projects with tight timelines and coordinating with diverse teams and subcontractors across Europe and Africa, considering local cultures.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working across borders both on-site and remotely, participating in projects, enhancing internal processes, and sharing knowledge to fuel our ongoing growth and development.

You will become part of our global Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) team, who provide a multidisciplinary package of consultancy services for our datacenter clients. We provide strategic, tactical, and operational advice to our clients, including colocation data centres, internet service providers, and telecom companies. Our team consists of colleagues with all kinds of different expertise. For example, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, civil, structure, building, architecture, fire safety, control engineering, and security technology. As a Senior Project Manager (Data Centres/ MCF), you will embody entrepreneurship, results-driven dedication, proactive problem-solving, and adaptability. While professional project management certifications like IPMA or Prince are valuable, your real asset lies in your substantial experience managing medium to large-scale projects, cultivating an extensive international network across relevant industries. An international perspective is key, as extensive travel is integral to this role, making an international CV even more attractive. Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills enable seamless integration into diverse international settings, where you also serve as a mentor to fellow staff. Building and maintaining trust at the director level with clients is your forte. With a keen business sense and financial acumen, you maintain a market-focused approach, recognizing profitability and revenue potential in various opportunities. Furthermore, you stay abreast of global health, safety, and sustainability standards, actively advocating for them in your projects.
